Summer League Registration Postponed

With the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to affect our community, leading to a state of emergency declaration by our state and the federal government, safety for the people of our community is of the utmost importance. Schools have been temporarily closed, many workplaces have asked employees to work remote, events have been cancelled, and we are all being urged to practice social distancing whenever possible to limit the spread of this virus.

With this all in mind, the TCUL board has met and agreed that it is in the best interest of our players and our community to delay the registration for our summer leagues. We are tentatively postponing registration to April 1, with the possibility of delaying further if the situation warrants it at that time.

If we are able to have registration open on April 1, there is a likelihood that the season will start later than usual. If there are further delays to registration, there may be other modifications to the structure, format, cost, and season of our summer league offerings. For the moment, however, in lieu of speculating about the future progress of this pandemic and its impacts, we will provide weekly updates to social media and our website each Sunday.

We realize that this is not an ideal situation, but we must put the safety of our community above recreational activities. We appreciate your patience during this unique period of time.  We urge everyone to follow all federal & local health recommendations, practice good hygiene, continue to socially distance themselves as much as possible, and keep safety a top priority. Further information on the COVID-19 pandemic and more detailed health/safety measures can be found on the CDC website, which we recommend be referenced for specific questions regarding this topic.
